Rinehart 3D target review

In the archery world we all seem to buy the best we can afford when it comes to our equipment. We buy the latest sights, rest, arrows etc… but when it comes to what we shoot at whether it be a block target or 3D target most people go to the cheap route. They buy the cheapest target they can buy or that over priced pro endorsed target that just doesn’t hold up.

Well in June of 2007 I was able to get my hands on a Rinehart 3D antelope target and we have since then put many arrows in the vitals of this target. It has handled every hit with ease. We have just now got to the point where I need to shoot at the back of the replaceable insert instead of the front to stop my arrows from going thru although they still do not go all the way thru the front of the core. This after two and a half years of shooting which is a lot. I like to shoot almost every night from April to the beginning of archery season in mid September and with the replaceable core costing around $70 bucks that equals to cheap shooting.

The initial cost being a little higher for the Rinehart is well worth the payoff. In the end you get much better quality, superior foam over all the other competitors and a heavier target overall. This means a much more stable target for those hard hitting shots from today’s faster harder hitting compound bows.

Believe me I’ve tried several of those cheap targets that flex all over the place when they’re hit with an arrow. After a couple of weeks of intense shooting your already zipping your arrows all the way through the target and spending a lot of time looking for lost arrows in the grass.

The RhinoBlock is a new target this year that looks to be a rock solid choice for those looking for a block target. It has six shooting sides to shoot at including deer vitals, down to small dots to hone in your shooting skills before that big hunt next season. This block has a replaceable core and you can shoot field points and broad heads including expandable's.

Check out Rinehart online and see their high quality targets and see which one suits your needs. They have something for every shooter out there. you won’t be disappointed.
